I bought this dress in white, during the recent 50% off sale, as part of an upcoming Chanukkah simcha event ensemble for this year, in my Chabad-Lubavitch community. My fiancée said he would make it happen at full price if we missed the sale, but my parents jumped on the sale instead. I’m 5’3, and I bought size large, in the longer length. I’m busty, but my shoulders are narrow, and the proportions of this dress are just right. This dress is a bit high wasted, which is perfect for hiding a less-than-perfect belly. There are large loops inside, on the waist of the dress, for hanging it without putting more tension on the delicate knit top. This is definitely a special event or simcha dress! I would also love to have it in the black! I happen to love the bubble dress and skirt styles from this season because I love full skirts. They balance out my busty top.
